ABOUT
Todd was born hearing, but when he was 2 years old, he came down with spinal meningitis and had a sustained fever of 109 which caused his eardrums to rupture. He has been completely deaf ever since. He grew up attending a deaf schools and found a community there. When Todd was in his 20’s he joined a deaf softball league and shortly thereafter Hailey also joined the very same team. She had been learning ASL and quickly found herself falling in love with the language and community. She continued to learn and play softball alongside Todd for several years until they began dating. Eventually they got married and have decide to share their knowledge and passion of ASL with others. Their goal is to help guide their students on a path that will allow them to continue learning the language outside of class and give them the tools to further their knowledge of ASL while providing support and a community to get them started.
